The finished portrait. (Check previous post for the work in progress.) I'm happy with this and again, like the Lewis Hamilton portrait, I'm more concerned that it's a good drawing rather than a good likeness although I think this one is closer!

It was the light that inspired me here and the warm glow it cast, but I do think she is very beautiful and as I seem to mainly draw men, it made a pleasant change!

Absolutely gorgeous portrait! I loved to see this portrait develop from start to finish. Thank you for showing the WIP! :o )

There is a quality about your portraits that I can't quite put my finger on - or maybe it's something I can't get my tongue around but it is magical and I'm so thrilled that I was in on the ground floor, Felicity to see you blossom and bloom.

An absolutely lovely drawing. Immediately recognized her, so you got that down as well. All the way from les Eaux-Vives, well done and a very interesting blog.

Your talent never ceases to amaze me, Felicity. This portrait is beautiful....you achieved a soft and natural glow to her skin. It was such a treat to see the portrait come to fruition through all the various stages.
